Clergy Assessment

Most Boards of Ministry and seminaries require potential candidates for the ministry to be assessed, in order to develop a fuller picture of the individual’s strengths and areas of growth and how these might affect the person’s life in ministry. CPC counselors who provide Clergy Assessments use a variety of interview techniques and psychological and personality assessment tools to assess candidates for the ministry. DMin, AAPC Fellow, ACPE Psychotherapist
Currently specializes in conducting ordination psychological evaluations for candidates from several denominations. He has significant experience working with life transitions and vocational issues. In the past he has worked with compassion and sensitivity doing therapy with individuals, couples and families. His focus on marriage and family issues included work with mood disorders, anxiety, stress, attachment issues, and substance abuse.
