YOU ARE NOT ALONE by Becki Porter-Harmon MA, BCC, LPC

YOU ARE NOT ALONE by Becki Porter-Harmon MA, BCC, LPC   This statement is not being used here as a comment that ET is with us, nor that a higher power surrounds us always. No, ‘You are not alone’ simply means that whatever you are going through is, on some level, a shared experience with other human beings. The thought [...]

It’s A New Year – Lend Me Your Ear

Communication. Always a good subject for consideration.  Some people are good at it, most are not all that good, some are really bad.  There is a simple explanation that accounts for most of the problems people experience with communication. [...]

Mindful Holidays

As the holidays approach every year; we see articles about grief, stress, holidays after divorce, etc, etc.  These are an important part of affirming what some folks are experiencing and, hopefully, to help them not feel alone in what they are going through. I would also like to affirm other experiences, even for those going through the above difficulties.  Having [...]
