Becki Porter-Harmon, MA LPC
Becki Porter-Harmon, MA LPC is an experienced clinician with over 30 years in the counseling field. She tailors her approach to that which will best fit with the client’s individual needs; including cognitive behavioral and experiential interventions. Clients struggling with depression, life transitions, grief and loss, substance abuse, ADHD and periods of difficult self-examination will experience a compassionate and strength/hope-oriented process during counseling with her. With much experience in the addictions field, she is available to help individuals and families who are seeking a road to recovery.
In addition, Becki has a special interest in assisting clients who suffer with anxiety disorders to develop positive coping skills and perspective; in order to improve their functioning and quality of life. She brings the same hope-oriented approach to work with couples in all stages of relationship, including pre-marital.
For those clients who may be further along in their healing process, Becki’s additional skills as a board certified personal and life coach may be a better fit. When working with a life coach, the orientation is future and change-oriented, with the process being a reflection of your own personal goals and values about life and how you would like to live it. The client is considered the expert and the coach engages you in a journey of powerful questions to facilitate your developing your own answers, strategies and plans.
Becki works with Adolescents (High School aged), Young Adults, Adults, Older Adults, Premarital, Couples and Families.
