Jenn Fredette

LPC, NCC, MA, M.Div.

I work with a variety of individuals, all of whom are different, but share one major trait in common: they want to work hard to make life better. These clients seek an in-depth exploration that aims to nurture shifts in their feeling, thinking, and behavior.  They often share that they have a sense that something is missing and that they are hungry to find meaning in their daily grind.

I love working with people who have done therapy for a long time and want to work to consolidate gains they’ve made, while also experiencing support as they set new goals. People brand new to therapy hold a special place in my practice and heart. I love working with people who are new to therapy and want to explore what it is all about, share areas where they are feeling stuck, want to feel support, set goals, and build momentum towards the life they’ve been longing to live.

I specialize in working with people who long for adventure, search for beauty, desire to be courageous, while also working to balance these soul desires with the needs of day-to-day life. If you chose to work with me, the beginning of the journey together starts with you sharing where you feel vulnerable. Vulnerability comes in many forms: low self-esteem, depression/mood disorders, chronic stress, anxiety, history of trauma, PTSD, substance abuse or dependence, complicated grief, LGBTIQ concerns, workplace issues, boundary/relationship difficulties–the list could, and does go on. I will walk with you on your journey, pointing out things you may have missed along the way, encouraging you if find yourself faltering, and providing new ways of being with yourself and with others. I absolutely delight in voyaging with my clients because the lives they shape for themselves are grounded in authenticity, filled with laughter and joy, grounded in peace. My clients work so hard, committing themselves to the process of showing up in their lives, walking inside their story and owning it.
