Professional, compassionate counseling throughout Northern Virginia

At CPC, we welcome everyone who seeks our counseling services. Pastoral counseling encompasses the professional approaches of traditional psychotherapy combined with the wisdom of spirituality and faith traditions.

We offer a wide range of counseling services for individuals, couples, children, and families in eleven locations in Northern Virginia and one in Washington, DC. Our counseling is grounded in a deep respect for the connections we all share, honoring the individuality and uniqueness of each person. In addition, we offer a variety of educational groups and workshops.

We listen and work to help you find and connect with your own sources of strength and healing. We recognize that, for many people, their beliefs are an integral part of their identity, and need to be honored and included in their healing.

Reviews

“I am always grateful for the compassion and professionalism of the Center for Pastoral Counseling, and have referred many members of my community to them over the years. Whether they be couples preparing for life together or in transitions, or individuals in times of crisis, I am confident that CPC colleagues will walk with them with great care and insight.
Our center provides affordable, high-quality early education and developmentally appropriate care for children in a safe, healthy and diverse environment. One of the most important needs that we have is in the area of social-emotional support. The CPC staff that we have worked with has been a vital part of our ability to meet this need. They have helped us by working not only directly with children, but also with the families and teachers that we have at the center. We are grateful for the observations and recommendations they have given us for working with children, the direct counseling support, and the training that they have offered for staff.”
