There are many different types of therapy. One of these types is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT tends to be a short term behavior focused therapy which allows an individual to identify the thoughts and behaviors which affect and cause their feelings, and to intervene on their thoughts and behaviors in order to bring about a change in their lives. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been extensively researched and has been found to be effective with many different types of problems.
