Kelly Bojan, M.S., NCC, Licensed Resident in Counseling
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am glad you are here. It is a privilege to join you on your journey in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where you can discuss your experiences and goals.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans in 2022. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Resident in Counseling (RIC).
I approach counseling from an Adlerian (aka Individual Psychology) perspective. You deserve to be validated, feel connected, and made to feel significant. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone and that together we can work to understand your sense of self, adjust better to changes, discover tools to help you with your goals, and find the social support you need to thrive. This is not ‘one size fits all’ therapy – it is customized for you.
My areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Social concerns
- Behavioral issues
- Injury/disability/chronic illness
- Life transitions
- Addictions
- PTSD
- Inner child work
- End of life issues
- Self-harm
- Grief and loss
Interventions include but are not limited to:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Creative expression
- Brainspotting
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Grief recovery
I see clients individually age 12 and up and also work with seniors. I see clients both in person and via Telehealth in Alexandria and Annandale. I look forward to working with you.
*I do not accept insurance; if you have out of network benefits I am happy to provide you with a superbill for possible reimbursement.
