M.S., NCC,  Licensed Resident in Counseling

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans in 2022. I am currently awaiting board approval for my license as a Resident in Counseling in Virginia with a prospective start date in early August. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, social concerns, behavioral issues, injury/disability/chronic illness concerns, life transitions, addictions, inner child work, self-exploration, and end of life issues.

I approach counseling from an Adlerian (aka Individual Psychology) perspective. As an Adlerian practitioner I believe that, as unique individuals, people should be validated, feel connected, and made to feel significant. Therapy sessions focus on the entire individual, not just the parts that need improvement, and regards the personality as strongly influenced by a person’s unique life experiences.

Adlerian therapy helps people regain their sense of self, adjust better to changes, and find the social support they need to thrive. I believe clients deserve a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where they can discuss their experiences. Together we can collaborate on what interventions and treatments may work best for you. I plan to see clients in person in Alexandria (St. Lukes), Annandale, and via Telehealth.
